OK, this sounds great, but it’s a free lottery, where does the money come from?
Our advertisers foot the bill! The money they pay to contact our players is split
down the middle. Double-Dutch: Half the proceeds will go to a randomly drawn winner,
the other half, to Charity. It’s win-win.
Why should I Play?
We recruit and select only the most suitable sponsors. Twotto players receive the
latest offers, deals and competitions from our selected sponsor.
"Oh no, Twotto will spam my twitter account"
Don't worry about getting spammed, we put a stop to this by restricting our sponsors
to a maximum of 5 tweets a day – so they must use them wisely.
Which Charity does the money go to?
Well this is where we need your help; the player who recruits the most new Twotto
players choose which Charity the proceeds will go to.
How much can be won?
The catch…The more followers we have, the more money we can give away. The game
will begin when we reach 100,000 players. Then and only then will the sponsor start
to tweet.
Twotto House Rules
We hate to be sticklers, but there are a few rules:
- You must be a resident of the UK and be within her fair shores when you play.
- You have to be 16 years of age and/or have a valid UK bank account.
- The charity you nominate (if not on our list) must have a registered charity Number and be based in the UK.
- You must not be a robot
We've set ourselves some rules too:
- We will never auto tweet from your Twitter account.
- We will not sell or disclose you're twitter username to any third parties.
Twotto's Permissions to your Twitter account:
- "Read Tweets from your timeline." (Any Twitter user can do this anyway)
- "See who you follow, and follow new people." (This happens only once to follow @NationalTwotto)
- "Update your profile." (Only if the 'Tweet This' button is pressed - then never again)
- "Post Tweets for you." (Again only if the 'Tweet This' button is pressed - then never again)
